MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS

CHIÊU QUÂN

Miss Chiêu Quân, dance instructor and founder of Viet Steps, was born in Saigon, Vietnam where her Ballet, traditional, and Hip Hop training started at the age of four at Sài Gòn's Thiên Nga Dance Group at the Children's House.

After moving to the U.S. as a teenager, she continued taking Ballet, Jazz, and technique classes at Kansas Dance Academy and was a Varsity Dancer throughout her high school years. She was named UDA All-American Dancer in 2012 and 2013. 

Currently, Miss Chiêu Quân is a student at UC Berkeley and a traditional dance choreographer for Cal Vietnamese Student Association's Culture Show.

Having started traditional dancing at an early age, she is passionate to share her love for traditional dance to her little students!
